The use of germinal concepts is consubstantial to the functioning of human creativity, it is inevitably linked to any propositional activity.
Given that every artificial object is necessarily preceded by a mental object that prefigures it, it can be assumed that the roots of the idea
as an instrument are linked to the very origin of the development of the imagination as part of the evolutionary process of the species. The
study of ideas as germinal concepts is therefore an essential part of the understanding of creative processes. This work shows enlightening
relationships between the study of creativity and its application to the analysis of the idea as a tool.
